Volunteers

Events are great fun for all, but there wouldn't be any without Volunteers.

Volunteering at the club events is a fun way to get to know other members of the club and community, and every volunteer's help is greatly appreciated.

Below are some of the volunteers's needed and their roles:

Canteen:

Preparing food for orders & selling drinks & other canteen items, the better the canteen the more miney raised to keep our club running & to keep our track prepped and to hold more events thoughout the year.

Registrations:

Help with processing rider registrations and preparing riders for the event.

Track Sweepers/Marshalls/Flaggies:

Riders not participating in the event that ride around the track making sure all riders are safe and accounted for, and to make sure all riders are sticking to the track & the rules.

Time keeping:

Thanks to our new computer system this isn't the stressful task it used to be. Help register the times and rider numbers of the riders as they pass through the timing gate. We also keep a paper copy of the times running as a backup incase the computer fails so we need someone to enter the data on paper throughout the day.

Timing Gate Flaggie:

Needs to make sure all riders stop at the timing gate and direct riders into pit are or back onto the track.

First Aid:

If you are a qualified first aid rep and want to volunteer your time on event days your help will be greatly appreciated!

General Helpers:

We always need general helpers to relieve some of the other volunteers for toilet breaks and to assist riders, members and spectators on event days.

Club Maintainence:

Throughout the year maintainance is required at the track, if you wish to volunteer at busy bee's or anytime to help maintain the track and it's facilities please contact the club president.
